Quick Pickled Red Onions

I LOVE pickled onions on just about anything. They are so delicious and incredibly easy to make. Pickled onions have this magical power to make a mundane dish taste fresh and exciting. Enjoy!


Ingredients:

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup water

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 red onion, thinly sliced


Instructions:

1. Whisk the first 4 ingredients together in a small bowl.

2. Place onions in a jar. Pour the vinegar mixture over the onions.

3. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 1-2 hours. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

4. Enjoy!
